Poison Dart Frog - One of the poison dart frogs, this individual was brought back to the lodge by another research group as a surprise for our herp team. This particular female was carrying her offspring on her back until she could find a suitable pond in which to place them. While toxic, these frogs can be handled without any problems. Their bright colours are a warning sign to potential predators.
